Connect an assistant

Konban works inside AI assistants that support custom connectors. Once connected, the assistant can read your watchlist, ratings, Tonight picks and subscriptions, and add, rate or mark titles as watched when you ask it to.

Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Konban and enter https://konban.app/api/mcp.
  3. Sign in to Konban and select Allow.

ChatGPT

Custom connectors need developer mode, which is available on paid plans. In ChatGPT settings, turn on developer mode, create a connector with the address https://konban.app/api/mcp, then sign in to Konban and select Allow.

Other assistants

Any assistant that accepts a remote MCP server works with the same address. It signs you in through Konban, so you need a Konban account.

What it can and can't do

  • Nothing is shared until you select Allow on Konban's own approval screen.
  • Changes are one title at a time. It can't edit your account, membership or settings, or delete anything in bulk.
  • To disconnect, remove the connector in your assistant's settings.
